Fourth Grade Chorus students begin working on matching pitch, reading simple melodies using the solfege (do, re, mi…) system, blending with others, developing proper breath control, and improving their individual tone quality. Depending on the caliber of the group, the chorus may work with two-part harmony in the second half of the year.
Fifth Grade Chorus students continue working on blending, sight-reading, matching pitch, and singing two-part harmony.
The chorus uniform consists of black shoes, black pants (ankle length) and a white short-sleeved shirt.
